Christian Counseling Services, Inc.'s
relationship with the local church is extremely
important as we assist the Pastor(s) in the
spiritual care of the flock. Pastors within the
local ch urches often have excessive demands of time
and energy placed on them. Pastors have the desired
expectation to be everything for everyone within
their congregation. Often, the counseling needs of
individuals or couples within the congregation
exceeds the time and energy available in the
pastor's already filled schedule, leaving little
time for the pastor to spend time with his / her family or
in reading the Scriptures.
Using the Christian
Counseling services offered through this ministry
will lighten the pastor's ministry burdens as the
counseling needs of the congregation will be
fulfilled. Due to these needs, Foundations offers
Churches and Pastors the following services:

Professional
Counseling: Our counselor(s) have years of
experience counseling various issues, including
many Mental Health Disorders as stated in the
DSM-IV, and have completed a Masters degree and
relevant training to meet the needs of those
struggling within the church.

Accountability:
If a client is a member of a local church, he
/ she has agreed to be under the spiritual
protection of the pastor and elders. Therefore
it is necessary that the Pastor have knowledge
of the client's participation with
Foundations Christian Counseling Services, Inc.
The information being shared with the Pastor is
information deemed necessary by the counselor
regarding the spiritual care of the member. This
may include (but is not limited to) the
specific issue, the goal of counseling, specific
scriptures addressing one's need, and the
termination of counseling. Please Note:
A written release form must be completed by
members of a church.

Reasonable
Rates: The typical rate for counseling is
$60.00 per
counseling hour. The rates for your members will
be reduced when your Church becomes a Ministry
Partner by financially supporting this ministry.
Presently, there
are three levels of Church Ministry Partnership
available to the local church:

Level 1:
A participating church will annually donate
$500.00.
This level of participation reduces the
counseling fees approximately 20% to
$50.00 per
session (This may save each individual or
couple in your congregation more than $520.00.
per year! *).

Level 2:
A participating church will annually donate
$1,000.00.
This level of participation reduces the
counseling fees approximately 30% to
$45.00 per
session (This may save each individual or
couple in your congregation more than $780.00
per year! *).

Level 3:
A participating church will annually donate
$1,500.00.
This level of participation reduces the
counseling fees approximately 40% to
$40.00 per
session (This may save each individual or
couple in your congregation $1,040.00 per year! *).
* Figures based
on regular weekly visits (1 visit / per week) for
one calendar year (52 weeks).

Billing Option:
Churches who do not have the funds to support
our ministry or who wish to engage in a trial
period, and who desire to help their members
financially with receiving professional
Christian counseling, may request to be billed a
portion of the counseling fees (i.e.: Rate
$60.00. Client pays $10.00. Church billed $50.00).

Reduced Fees
for All Paid Church Staff: Rates are
significantly reduced for all full-time (35
hrs. / wk.) and part-time (20 to 34 hrs. / wk.)
church staff (including pastors, secretaries,
maintenance, etc.) and their immediate

Sunday School /
Special Speaking Engagements: If your church is
interested in a specific topic (i.e.:
marriage, communication, parenting, self-esteem,
conflict management, etc.) to be taught in
Sunday School or at a Special Speaking /
Teaching Engagement, we are able to
